Officers

President- David Robison

A native of Dallas, Texas, he graduated from UTA with a degree in Political Science and minor in Social Work. He has also taken social work courses at DCCCD and TSU. He has 30-plus years of professional experience. He is currently retired. He has served on the NABSW National Committees under the last four and current national presidents. He was once Dallas Chapter Past President. He also served on the website, communication, media, and public relation committee. His professional affiliations are: NABCJ, NAACP, NACC, DNC, CBC Foundation, People Empowerment Services, ACA, and UTA Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma (Charter Line). His community interests are: Church, Faith Based Commitment, Youth Mentoring, Political Action, Family and Youth Services, Substance Abuse Counseling and Treatment, Housing for the Disadvantaged, and building safe, healthy, and viable communities for all citizens.

He presented in the last three congressional black causus events, in Washington, D.C. Assisted in the production of the first successful ex-offender job fair in Dallas held in 1996.

Under his leadership NABSW-Dallas recieved The Cenie "Jomo" Williams, Jr. award for the "Organizations' Most Outstanding Chapter," which is the highest award given by the NABSW.The Dallas Chapter will continue to garner national recognition helping to host a National Press Conference during the National Conference in L.A. on a National's Voter's Registration effort.

Vice President- Treva McDaniel

A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, she recieved a Business Degree from Langston University and a Masters Degree in Social Work Administration from UTA. She has recently been accepted into the PhD program at UTA. She holds a LMSW licensure. She has worked in the Human Services field for 20-plus years. She is currently employed with the Urban League of Greater Dallas. She served on many Dallas Chapter committees in the past to include membership, fundraising, and NABSW Southwest Regional Conference. Professional Affiliations: Urban League of Greater Dallas, Dallas Area Agency on Aging, Rhods Terrace Advisory Council, and Kinship Care Council. Her community interests are Juvenile Justice Reform, Re-entry population and African-American families to achieve self-reliance.

Secretary- Arzmella Hammond

A native of Seattle, Washington, she graduated from Roosevelt University with a BA in Public Administration and from The University of Illinois at Chicago with a Masters of Urban Planning. She has interned, volunteered, and worked in her field since 1993. Her community interests are Urban Revitalizing and Education

Assistant Treasurer- Audrey Brown

A native of Abiliene, Texas, she is a graduate of UTA with a BA in Sociology with the Social Work option. She has worked in the Human Services field for 25-plus years. She is currently employed at the Dallas Police Department. She has served on many of the Dallas Chapter committees in the past which include: Membership, Scholarship, Fundraising, and the Executive Committee. Other than NSABSW her professional affiliations are: The Dallas Association of Dispute Mediation. She is a Deacon at St. Luke Presbyterian Church, a member of the Southwest Dallas County Aggie Moms Club, and the Agape Book Club.
